The TEAM Academy is at risk! We need your help!
On March 5, 2026, AWHS Principal Jacob Gran announced that the TEAM Academy would be cut from a two-year program to one year. Effective immediately. No discussion. No vote.
When parents requested a meeting to understand the constraints and to discuss possible solutions, he declined.
Per the California Education Code, program-level decisions of this nature require TUHSD Board approval.
At the March 24th TUHSD Board Meeting, the board agreed to include the SAVE TEAM initiative on the next board meeting agenda, on April 14th, 2026, but as an “Information only” item. Thank you to everyone who spoke and to those who attended to show support!
Here is how you can help:
JOIN US at the next TUHSD Board Meeting, Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 6:00 PM (5:30 PM - TEAM Academy speakers meet)
at Redwood High School (Kreps Conference Center), 395 Doherty Drive, Larkspur.
Students and parents will be there again to further explain why they are protesting this program cut.
